Emergency First Aid at Work

WHAT

 

This one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course will help you meet the regulatory requirements for first aid training, covering emergency protocols only for your workplace.

 

The content of this course covers basic lifesaving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations.

 

WHY

​

This course is designed for people who want to receive training in an emergency first aid situation and is especially suited for nominated first aid persons in a low risk working environments.

​

The course complies with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

WHEN

​

Successful candidates will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate, this is valid for 3 years. 

​

Under the current guidelines while not a legal requirement it is recommended that first aiders regularly review their course manual and employers provide them time to do this. This will help to maintain their first-aid skills. Half-day refresher courses are also available

​

HOW

​

Our friendly and highly experienced assessors will come to your place of work to carry out the training for 1 to 12 staff.  All our staff are trained to HSE recommendations and hold at least the Emergency at First Aid Qualification and a teaching/assessing qualification.  The course is run over one day (6 contact hours plus any breaks and lunch) and includes both theory and practical sessions, the training is designed to be interactive and focused on providing the knowledge and practice to boost a candidate’s confidence.
